Over the last few weeks, Ketepa has really spread its wings and made headways in moving out of the Kenyan borders to other African countries.
Ketepa explores West Africa
Last month, Ketepa attended the ACFTA inaugural meeting that will see Ketepa fly out our tea to Ghana.
Yes, you read that right.
Ketepa is now in Ghana!
We also flagged off our first shipment of a 20ft container to our Ghanian customers. The event was attended by government officials, KTDA leadership and AfCFTA secretariat.
We do hope that our Ghanian brothers and sisters are going to enjoy the Kenyan tea and are going to find it pleasurable as they sip it and make it a part of their culture going forward.
Other than venturing in West Africa, we are also exploring the south.
Ketepa explores South Africa
Last week, we attended the Kenya South Africa trade forum at the KICC. The event was flagged off by His Excellency President William Ruto and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Attendees to the event sampled our tea and our CS Agriculture Mithika Linturi gifted his South African counterpart, Thoko Didiza with a hamper from Ketepa tea. It was indeed gallant of him to give out such an amazing gift to his counterpart, right?
We will continue forging relationships to have our tea sampled and drank in more countries. Ketepa tea is indeed a global brand but still your fahari ya Kenya.
