Chairman
P. M. Ringera
Mr. Ringera is a graduate of Kenyatta University. He worked as a graduate teacher in various capacities and retired in the rank of Principal. He has also served at the Kenya National Examination Council as an Examiner and Assistant Chief Examiner. He is a Treasurer of Meru Central District Development Forum. He is currently the chairman of Githongo Tea Factory and serves on the boards of several KTDA-managed tea factory companies. He is also a director of greater Meru Power Company Limited and Mwingiki Farmers Company Ltd. He is currently the chairman of KETEPA and sits on the boards of GFL and TEMEC. He is a member of the Staff and Renumeration and Risk Assurance and Governance Committees at KTDA.

Managing Director
A. M. Otochi
Mr Otochi Holds a BSc (HONs) in Marketing from the University of Nairobi and a diploma from Chartered Institute of Marketing(UK). He has over 25 years’ experience in management having held senior positions in Barclays Bank, KCC, Wellcome (K)Ltd, Premier Foods Ltd, Ogilvy & Mather and Ketepa. Prior to his current position, he served as General Manager, Sales and Marketing at KTDA(MS)

P. T. Kanyago MBS,EBS
Mr. Kanyago holds an MBA in individual management from pacifc state university. He is a fellow of the Chartered Certifcate of Accounts (FCCA), fellow of certifed public accounts of Kenya (FCPA-K), Fellow of Kenya Institute of Management (FKIM), and also a Certifed Public Secretary of Kenya (CPS-K). He serves on the board of Trans century Ltd, East Africa cables Ltd, Eco bank Tanzania Ltd, and corporate insurance company Ltd. He also sits on the board of the following KTDA subsidiaries: KTDA foundation, Chai Trading Company Ltd (CTCL), Greenland Fedha Ltd, KTDA power company Ltd and several Tea factory companies. Mr. kanyango previously served as the chairman of Ecobank Kenya Ltd. He is the Chairman of East African Elevator Co. Ltd and Kenya Open Golf Ltd.

J. M. Wakimani (Eng)
Eng. Wakimani holds a BSc (HONS) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi and a MSc. degree in Highway Engineering from Birmingham University, UK. He has over 29 years experience in engineering design, construction and management. He is a member of the UK Institute of Highways and Transportation, a registered professional engineer with the Engineers Board of Registration of Kenya (EBR) and a corporate member of the Institute of Engineers of Kenya. He is currently practicing as an engineer consultant and is a director of Frame Consulting Engineering Ltd. He previously worked at Chevron Kenya as Maintenance and Construction Manager in charge of fve countries Eng. Wakimani is the chairman of Mataara Tea Factory and KTDA Power Company. He also sits on the boards of TEMEC and various tea factory companies as well as being a trustee of the KTDA Foundation.

B. O. Matonda
Mr. Matonda trained as a teacher at Kabianga Teachers College. He later became a Headmaster and rose through the ranks to become an Education Ofcer. He is a former Director of Gusii Mwalimu Sacco and sits on the boards of several Tea Factory Companies and KTDA Holdings’ subsidiaries.

F. M. Mark
Mr. Macharia is a graduate of Kenya Science Teachers College and holds a Bachelors degree in Education (Mathematics) from McGill University, Canada. He has been a principal of various secondary schools and was a lecturer at Kenya Science Teachers Collage. He has served as a board member of Karuri Secondary School and a member of Kangema District Education Board. He also served as CDF member of Kangema Constituency. Mr. Macharia is a long serving chairman of Kihito Investment Company Ltd, a director of Forty Welfare and Strategy Commitees. He is also a chairman of the KTDA International Business Development Committee and sits on the board of Majani Insurance Brokers Ltd, Chai Trading Company Ltd and KTDA Power company

S. Omanga
Mrs. Omanga holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management with a Minor in Advertising from Rocky Mountain College, Billings Montana, USA. She is the owner and CEO of Exclamation Marketing. She is an experienced Board member serving in several boards: Longhorn Publishers, UAP Old Mutual and Acumen East Africa. Sue has a demonstrated history of working in the marketing, public relations and communicationsindustry. Skilled in Corporate Social Responsiblity, Advertising, Intergrated Marketing, Crisis Communications and Cooking. She is also an avid proponent of sustainable development.

Mr L. S. Tiampati, MBS
Mr. Tiampati holds an MSc degree in Marketing and Product Management from the Cranfeld Institute of Technology (UK), a degree in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi and a diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). Prior to joining KDTA, Mr. Tiampati served as the Managing Director of KETEPA. He has also worked as the Head of Marketing at the Standard Chartered Bank, Marketing Development Manager at Magadi Soda and Family Bank Ltd as well as all KTDA holdings subsidiaries. He previously served on the board of the East African Tea Trade Association (EATTA) as Chairman.

B. K. Ngari
Mr Ngari Holds a Bsc Degree from the university of Nairobi and MBA Finance from the same university. He is a qualifed Chartered Accountant (ACA). Mr. Ngari joined KTDA in may 2007 and was later that year appointed the Finance and Strategy Director, a position he holds to date. He was previously the General Manager, Finance and Strategy at Postal Corporation of Kenya prior to which he was the Commercial Controller at the Kenya Airways. He also held various positions in the Lonrho East Africa Group before joining Kenya Airways. He trained and worked with the Ernst and Young in the UK and in Kenya as an Auditor. He sits on the Boards of KTDA holdings and all its subsidiaries.

Dr. K. Langat, OGW, MBS, FKIM
Dr. Kipkirui Lang’at holds a bachelor degree in veterinary medicine, Master degree in MAgric, Master degree in MBA and he is also a certifed corporate governance trainer. He is a consultant in Agribusiness Management and corporate governance. He is currently serving as a consultant for the Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH) in the Mau Forest and sits on the board of KETEPA. He has served as a CEO of New Kenya Cooperative Creameries Ltd and previously served on the board of Kenya Commercial Bank and the Tea Board of Kenya.
