CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
At Ketepa we believe in giving back to the community because we believe that without the support of the people we would not be where we are now. As an extension to our mission statement of being the consumers’ first choice for blended tea, the company gives towards helping those with special needs in society.
KETEPA has a clinic at their head office in Kericho where staff members are treated and given medical attention. This is to ensure that our staff members and their families are well cared for.
Ketepa in conjunction with KTDA participated in Kangaita tea factory medical camp (CSR) to deliver ultimate impact to the tea farmers and also donated a branded wheelchair to person with mobility challenges in that area.
Kenya Tea Packers Limited (KETEPA) partnered with Kenya Hospices and Palliative Care association (KEHPCA) to celebrate the World Hospices and Palliative Care Day (WHPCD) on Friday 8th October 2021.The WHPCD commemorated the launch of the Kenya Palliative Care Policy as well as having a screening event on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) which will take place at Nairobi National Hospital grounds. We were the hydration sponsor of the day and also showcased our range of teas to the diverse audience.
